Gail Edmonds is a distinguished and award-winning artist based in Sydney, with a dedicated following appreciating her artistic endeavours. Her regular exhibitions at the Art Gallery on Darling in Balmain, Sydney have become anticipated events within the local art scene. Gail’s artistic expression is deeply rooted in her love for nature and animals, evident in the themes that often grace her canvases – ranging from captivating depictions of animals to figurative works and abstract mixed, medium compositions, featuring outback scenes.

In addition to her accomplishments as an artist this year 2024 Gail has been selected to exhibit at the prominent 10th Geoje International Art Festival in South Korea. Previously Gail was selected to exhibit two paintings at the prestigious Packsaddle Exhibition held at the Armidale Regional Gallery in 2023.

Gail has been recognised for her expertise by being selected as a panel judge for prestigious art events such as the Hunters Hill Art Prize twice and Lane Cove Art Prize. Her involvement extends to being a Director of the Art Gallery on Darling in Balmain, a dynamic space dedicated to showcasing and promoting the works of both emerging and established local artists.
